History walk along Bryncoch & Tennant Canals
- Sunday 14th  September 2008 @10.30am.
A history walk along the Bryncoch Canal and the Tennant Canal.
An opportunity to see some of the remains of this nearly lost waterway at Bryncoch, and then leisurely walk along part of the Tennant Canal.
Meet at: the main road lay-bye entrance to Gilfach quarry on the Pontardawe to Neath road at 10.30am.

A Canal route cycle ride
- Sunday 20th July @10.30am
From Pontardawe to Swansea Marina and back. Keep fit and enjoy the scenery. The wildlife on the canal is fantastic, the scenery superb. Come and join us for a great day out.  Approximately 20 miles for the whole journey.
Meet at: Cwmtawe Comprehensive School bus park 10.30am.
Bring a packed lunch.

April 2008 - litterpick at Ynysmeudwy

Fortunately the weather was dry during the morning of the litterpick.

We collected glass, cans, plastic and paper from the car-park and towpath. From the canal we recovered a car bumper, an engine block and several corrugated tin sheets!
